What guitars does Ronnie play and why?

I play a few guitars, the ones I primarily use live right now are a Gibson Les Paul Jr. double cutaway and a Gibson Flying V.

My Les Paul Jr. has become my Holy Grail, I love it's full yet almost obnoxiously biting sound. Being the entire guitar sound of L.U.S.T. I have to sound as big as possible.

The P90 sound really appeals to me being a huge fan of 70s punk bands and Johnny Thunders, however the 60 cycle hum would drive me insane because I run such a high gain amp. So I wired a Lindy Fralin hum canceling P90 into it myself which works perfectly.

When I want to get that real classic Gibson humbucker sound, with the option of either a wailing bridge pick up or smooth neck pickup, I use my Flying V. Like the double cutaway I love the all neck access (and look!) and still can't believe such a big sound comes out of such a light guitar. That axe went around the whole country with me (even to Bon Scott's grave) on the Ace Frehley tour.
